The Conductor
37"w x 41"h leaded and copper foiled glass, layered, fused, slumped, painted and fired, silver stains, enamels, sand blasted, mahogany and steel frame and stand.
This was an early experimental project with which I tested every possible combination of techniques in preparation for a larger, musical themed sculpture which I have yet to fabricate although the design has been completed for some time. This image is one/sixth of the complete design which comprises the rest of the orchestra.
